Enrolment Procedures

As set out in the School Policy, all enrolments at St Mary’s School are provisional until such time as there has been an interview with the Principal. After these interviews, a decision on enrolment approval will be made according to the needs of the child and the capacity of the school to provide for those needs.

It is important for parents to outline all details they can about the child so that an informed decision can be made.

Where places are limited, allocation of places will be made at the discretion of the school Principal, with decisions based on the school’s ability to provide for needs of the student. Preference will be given to Catholic families; existing supportive families with children already in the school; past supportive families. Reasons for wishing to enrol will also be taken into account.
